    Ritterkreuztrager der waffen-SS

Of the 400 or so Knights cross winners in the SS, I wonder how many uniform parts are known to exist in collections around the world,of these brave elite. After very brief research, I only traced only the following..
    Sepp Dietrich (visor cap,coat,plus)
    Karl Maria Demelhuber (tunic)
    Rudolf von Ribbentrop (tunic)
    Walter Bestmann (tuxedo)
    Waldemar Riefkogel (visor cap)
Please add any names and items you know of either from reference books
    or personal knowledge.
    Please help if you can.
Maybe a reference book could be created around this subject

    Thanks
    Martin

Check out the Virginia War Museum. Spent a morning there last Summer, and it's a great place to visit if you are ever in the Va. Beach/Norfolk area. Can't comment as to the authenticity of the items, but it sure is one impressive display of Waffen-SS material amongst all the others!

        Hello Martin

I know that a schirmmutze of August Dieckmann is in a collection of a German collector who bought it when more of Dieckmann's stuff was sold ! There was also a picture of the schirmmutze and picture of Dieckmann where you can see that he's wearing the same one !

I also like to know where all the stuff is , there are people who are claiming that they have tunics etc. of KC-recipients , but I only believe it when you have pictures of them where they're wearing it ! I have never seen a tunic with comparible picture !
So this stuff is very, very rare !

          Kurt Schumacher (Greatcoat)
          Werner Potschke (Pz wrap )

I have a large framed presentation etching given to Felix Steiner on his promotion to SS-Ogruf, if that counts.....

And a Julleuchter (allegedly) from the estate of Johannes Muhlenkamp.

The Steiner etching is the Markgrafenbrunnen in Bayreuth.

                          That's the one, Ade.

It's still hanging on the wall.

A couple of years ago, I was in Bayreuth and went to the Neues Schloss to see the fountain shown in the drawing. It was covered up for the winter, so all I came back with was a picture of the wooden casing.
