Joachim Peiper's gasmask and canister are on display at the D-Day museum in Bayeux along with one or two other items that I can't recall.

I had Brigadeführer Gustav Lombards complete uniform.
But there were some questions of the grouping.
          His Ritterkreuz is in Sweden.

Can you provide pictures of this uniform grouping?

Wow, very nice. Do you have photos of the uniform in wear?

                            Hi Markus.

I did not find many photos of Lombard.
Only 5 or 6 and none of them in this uniform.

Thanks Derek. The collar tabs are not genuine, as far as I can see. A close up of them would certainly help but I don't like what I see on these. If you had a lot of nice pictures of the cap, especially with 'under the hood' shots, and posted it on the cloth cap forum, I'd bet the guys over there would have a good time ripping it apart. Do you have close up photos of the rest of the tunic? What about the trousers/breeches? Do they have the light-gray lampssen stripes on them? Who has this uniform now?

In my opinion somebody came up with his documents, photos and some other documents and then filled in the rest of it with original medals (not necessarily attributed to Lombard) and had an SS-General's uniform made up to complete the 'collection' or 'grouping'.

                              Bob

Is it just me or is the cut of the breast and materials “exactly” like Janke repro’s? Also the reverse twist of the chin cord on the visor is not a good start.
