Up until when was the M34 overseas cap used?
Could it be that men still wore them up to the end of the war, depending on enlist time and condition of said cap. Or got some from the depot even when the M40 overseas or m43 cap was in use?
And same question about the SS-VT grey tunic. Could it be that it was still worn up to '43/'44 by guys because they liked it, still had one or from left overs in the depot when getting a new tunic?
Maybe it could be that there were guys who wore them, just as there were still numbered SS tabs in use up to late of the war, to show they were the "early" guys?
