    Hi,

here is the German British Free Corps flyer that Scott bought if i'm right.

It was found in a British POW returning from Germany after the war.

Notice the propaganda printing code at the bottom left.

    See You

And I purchased from Kyle. You used to see from time to time, but truly I have not seen one in the last few years besides the one I purchased from Kyle.

probably original as all the uniforms and equipment were original film started about
1958 and was finished about 1962 and quite a few of the UK,s earliest collectors and dealers were involved by the way the photo of the fat guy standing near the kuble is not from this film

                        Lloyds, thanks for the reply.

So your opinion is that everything we see in the film is original, including the sleeve eagle, except for the cuff title, which everyone says is a fake?

the cuff titles and the British SS insignia and some of the BUF stuff were made in the uk for the film, years ago A Mollo said the uniforms and equipment came from Germany and France rag markets and surplus dealers, the weapons and vehicles came from Babty and Co with the jagdpanther and 3 ton halftrack from Bovington tank museum all in all not a bad effort for the time

No, that's probably from the War & Peace Show.

I heard of a possible existence of a British tab. A friend of mine who is an SS collector from Chicago, told me that he visited another older collector and that person indeed has the British tab. Unfortunately he was not allowed to take any photos. My friend knows his cloth, so I would not doubt his words.

                                Hi,

                                interesting info Askold.
Do you may ask your friend when he visited this collector (year) ?
I suspect that no more info was given on the source of the tab ?

the "usual suspect" on Foreign volunteers insignia would be David Delich, but he never claimed to have such an elusive collar tab as far i know...
