Actually it does. Even if he has real items, he knowingly sells fakes and can't be trusted at all. Honest dealers and collectors fix their mistakes if pointed out. Crooks try to rip you off. If you trust him and his stories about that smock because they support your view, that is your choice. I trust him and people like him like I would trust a fox to watch after a hen house. This particular crook, before he was banned here was selling good items here on this forum and in parallel fakes on ebay.

This is bout fake pink garbage not ammo pouches.

The point I am trying to make is that different doesnt necessarily mean its bad....like the pouches like the smocks...in that sense I am not drifting but staying on topic....similarities..never encountered in the west. Never seen in collections never brought back by US vets never seen in period images...understood?

Exactly a mixed bag of good and bad...so apparently the doubtful items on ebay...
he couldn't sell the smock here on WAF because of the opinions made on these and they are considered stinky pinkies... and again just opinions...nobody still really knows for sure...no smoking gun either way! I remember those G43 pouches like he is offering on ebay flooding the west all of a sudden, patterns that nobody had ever seen before albeit the fact that they were made in the West based on known maker codes...but all disappeared in the meatgrinder on the eastern front...and stuck there until the wall came down (around the time these rat infested smocks with Russian stamps appeared on the market...and sold cheap based on very long term storage conditions...(rodent damage, rat urine etc...core ones in the bales survived much batter)
That's the comparison I am trying to make between the two...that's all. (and it proves he also sells good items...even on ebay)

Whoever is selling a pink smock is totally irrelevant to the authenticity question. The price is irrelevant as well. If I asked $10,000.00 for one and someone bought it would that make them real in the eyes of everyone? Screaming "fake" endlessly doesn't prove anything either. The fact is it is unproven either way and until something concrete comes up to convince the other half it will remain that way and the price will stay low. BTW has anyone noticed prices on SS smocks declining lately?
