I haven't looked at prices for a long time but even I know an authentic SS Panzer wrap is not going for that low a price. Especially from that eMedals place.

Did you buy one based on a few photos from Germany so we can see if you got a good deal??

No I never bought one, not my area of collecting. I am just trying to make a point. There a good deals out there to be had still. I am just saying just because something is sold for a lower than average price, doesn’t mean it is automatically a fake. Some forum member won a nice field grade officers WSS tunic last action, posted it on here and it was found to be authentic for literal chump change last auction on Ratisbons. If I am buying something that is 3rd Reich I normally vet it through multiple people first.

I saw 2 at Ratisbon during the last year or so.

One 627 marked that sold around 7800€ only with sleeve eagle no other insignia.

And one hard worn with Wiking cuff title and collar patches that sold around 8800€ - maker not any longer visible.

Both far away from the Emedals example that sold for 6800$ which is around 5700€......

Also if it is normal to find slight differences in measures here we have a great differences. "Normal length" is 50/55.

Sorry but as per quite a few people the stamped measurements simply cannot be right.
It's beyond a red flag it's plain wrong.

                              wraps

You guys have the measurement issue bass-akwards. Looking at the two left hand numbers: 44/70 is the torso length/ overall length for a FOUR POCKET Feldbluse. Panzer wraps typically have overall lengths from of 54-66 (depending on how tall the intended wearer was. ) I know, this will be poo-pooed due to this or that expert having stated otherwise. However, I MAKE this stuff- so I do have a little bit of expertise in this department. But don't take my word for it- go look at other (original) uniforms- 44/70 is a common SS four pocket tunic length- on M40, M42, M43, 44 dot etc.

-Some SS wraps dispense with the overall length number and just have the torso size. (In other words 4 numbers instead of 5)

-I have seen a number of otherwise "one looker" SS wraps with...4 pocket length stamps. This has vexed me for several years- they do not measure 70cm. I have talked to Mike Davis and a couple of "Panzer gods" and the collective jury is still out on that. I have never seen that done on Heer wraps.

And just for good measure (no pun intended) here's the sizing table for Heer Panzer wraps from Hdv337. Ruckenlange & Ganze Lange (top row) are the numbers concerned. Note how they are also "too short" like the wrap in question. (54 to 66cm)

-SS wraps tend to be 2-3cm longer than Heer per the same torso size. Also, Heer tunics only have odd numbered torso lengths- SS (and LW) use even and odd. (No idea why). Hence there is no size 44 Ruckenlange on the chart.

There is a depressing amount of hokus pokus, conjecture, and voodoo in this hobby- but this particular issue can easily be verified with a .50 tape measure.

We'd better this this this guy, folks. He's the same individual who helped out the collecting community by identifying how to tell a SS M40 from an army type by providing some very solid tells.

In terms of the sizing, I don't have any SS wrappers, but I have assault gunner and army panzer ones. I know the sizing is quirky on these, but the sizing info presented above looks accurate to me.

As stated, I think we need to continue the discussion on this wrapper.
