    Your Expertise with wraps seems to end with the fact that you did not know that there is a drawstring inside.....but in the end you could burn your Money or not - it is not my Money it is yours.

      Mm has a deep knowledge on panzer wrap, he is probably the first who catalogued the 4+1 main producers and their typical features.
      I have to agree, unfortunately, it has some red flags. Sewing, features not proper for producer

          I think one would want to wait for much better detail pictures of various areas before making a call either way, just my thoughts. If someone can say it is good or bad from just these few pictures more power to them. More information is always better than less especially when dealing with an item like this.

            So true! Some tunics can be tricky to judge even when you have them in hand.
            This one so far looks promising IMO. But for me impossible to judge from the few and not especially detailed pictures provided.

              This tunic needs to be examined more thoroughly before an informed opinion can be rendered, IMO. Materials, insignia, and (to me) construction features are fine for a late war wrap.

                Many thanks gents for taking the time to comment. I will have this in hand next week hopefully and post more pics. Seller will provide 100% refund if not satisfied, stands by this being a late war wrap 100% original.

                    What do you think about the stamp? IMO this is similar to a four pocket tunic stamp character, 64 cm back lenght not typical for a wrap, wraps used to have 54-55 cm back lenght. If you see this stamp here the arm lenght and back length almost the same? How possible?

                    I wouldn't love to see this tunic in my collection.

                    I would like to see some opinions from wrap expert collectors.

                    Thanks,
                    Alex

                    That's a perfectly good observation right there on the stamp by Alex.

                    If the length is 64cm then how could anyone's arms / sleeve length be only 65cm? It couldn't be.

                    All the insignia is original but I'm betting it's been sewn on recently. I would take MM's advice on this one.

                    I've been away a long time from the WAF but I just thought I would pay a quick visit.

                      But looking at the wrap itself, the sleeves are longer than the length of the wrap. It is quite small. What is the '92' in the stamp stand for? What would be the difference to the '88' in the stamp by JayJay below?

                        92 is the chest size, mine is 88 and quite small

                          According to how I learnt it - and if I'm wrong someone can correct me.

                          44 = back length

                          43 = collar size

                          92 = chest size

                          64 = full length size

                          65 = sleeves length

                          Panzer wraps are short - like a battle jacket that goes to your waist - so the overall length should not be very long. But your arms definitely go past your waist the last time I looked at my arms.....

                            What is the sleeve length on your's JayJay? The numbers also look close together. Clearly looking at the wrap photos though the arms are longer than the tunic.
