    Heydrich wears the "SD-hauptamt " cufftitle below his Haupt-chef cufftitle , have only noted this combination in this one instance ? picture taken in 1939 .

        Well . . . wasn't he assigned charge of the Sicherheitspolizei in 1936 . .. and then command of RSHA in 1939 - which sealed the deal for control of the Police and the SD? So by that time, this would have rated him pretty "high-on-the-order" of the Main Office - or at least a few of the various departments it controlled. So maybe that title would have been most fitting for him, at that time? In all those years before the War, many of those "titles" and "ranks" seem to have been in a continuous sate of flux . . . and as fast as things were changing, I doubt anyone really knew what was appropriate from one day to the next.

              If you zoom in on the original image (look online) you will see it's a glass on the table reflecting his cufftitle, he is not wearing two different cufftitles.
