They still exist. He still has some of Bud O'toole's fabric and screens.

              - yes,on and on like the pink topic..
Just goes to show the sad state of the hobby is in..
There is less and less nice authentic SS cloth out there to discuss.

SS-Obersturmführer Josef "Sepp" Niedermayer, 7. SS-Freiwilligen -Gebirgs-Division Prinz Eugen. This shows SS runes under the Infantry Assault Badge in silver. The SS-runes were introduced January 16, 1937 to be worn by members of the Allgemeine-SS and Ordnungspolizei who were SS members.
In July 1943 the SS-runes wear was extended to all full members of the SS in a unit of the Waffen-SS who were non-German or whose uniform did not have a SS rune collar tab like the 4. SS-Polizei -Panzergrenadier-Division, 7; SS-Freiwillingen-Gebirgs-Division Prinz Eugen, and other similar units.

Actually when this Latvian SS officer sought asylum in Sweden..his uniform was burnt after he removed the insignia because of a lice infestation..when the war ended to Swedes repatriated him back to Soviet occupied Latvia..this Swiss tunic was supplied by Geneva Red Cross after resewing his insignia on..including his incredibly rare Latvian snipers badge..Billbert
Guess he met his maker or the Gulags Dressed in Style..

Wow thats one horrible Frankenstein! While I understand that not everyone can tell good insignia from a bad one, you can at least compare the tunic to original photos and ask yourself a question - how come nothing in this set matches any photos?
