A collector friend just bought a Latvian SS uniform with belt, pants, and ID folder and looking for comments and thoughts. Lots of photos. This is the auction house original description on the uniform set….
”WWII Nazi SS Uniform Latvian, complete uniform grouping has SS tunic, pants, arm band and belt with cross strap. Believed to be authentic by the owner. He has owned it for 40 years. Tunic has multiple markings inside the jacket including stamped on outside of pocket liner, dated 1943, has a crest on right sleeve, embroidered eagle on left sleeve, orange piping on shoulder boards, collar tabs also denote SS, arm band has a matching crest and a political ink stamp, pants has several markings on inside, very interesting grouping!”
