And thus we arrive at the issue of what HR certification was actually done with ring in hand, and what wasn't. And how one proves it. Also, the community needs transparency on all dealers that had a cosy arrangement of just sending pictures for certification. There is such a dust storm on this matter now that I would want to see post and packaging documentation/receipts with any certification, and even then I would still be a doubter. I actually am saddened by this whole matter.

I did not see one ring for sale at the SOS.

I was hoping to see if prices were affected by the COA issue.

I would think that the price/popularity will increase. More and better reference books not to mention boards such as this. Once people accept that they can understand what they are looking at without going thru a few gatekeepers who must approve it, the market opens up.

I´m selling TK rings and potential buyers are still asking me for Don´s COA, so this case was a storm in a glass of water, I think...

For sure buyers that don't read WAF and that don't know the COAs were sent without having rings in hands. And you know what I'm talking about.
Many knows it, but I'm sure no one will tell here, they prefere the silence. Isn't it Martin?

No doubts they will ask Don's CoA for a long time, it's not so easy to delete someone with 50 years and more of experience about the matter.

I had a 44 issued to a Waffen SS DKiG winner on the table. It sold Friday afternoon.

Just my opinion, but believe that dedicated collectors know where originals are in collections these are bought and sold without ever seeing shows or forums. When one does show up they are not usually subjected to forum judgement. Hope that makes sense. Ron

One dealer had 6,,but only displayed 3.. My buddies had seen 4 more spread out there... Could there have been more?, did they miss one or a couple? probably yes!

Maybe you were looking at lights in the sky and missed everything?

Personally I think the bubble burst for TK HRs. I had one some years ago but sold it off and never looked back. I think TK HRs over the last few years have been tainted. There are now three books from different authors and it makes this hobby confusing (but also interesting).
