Not surprised. It's the big game. Buy fake sell real. Get a few high enders to back you or stay silent while others get fleeced or peoples characters are assassinated in long drawn out threads only to find out later the shooters cash in on it. Had a few tunics trashed here by "experts" along with insults only to see them offered for sale again at triple value by associates or friends of the people who trashed them.Last edited by John Pic; 11-29-2017, 03:31 PM.

Owen, are the camo helmet covers coming from Lorenzo now 100% real if they are in your collection?
I'm sorry I don't buy that lame excuse that the gigantic pictures in the other thread that made you condemn the hat as a "100%" fake" were somehow inadequate. Now that you had the cap in hand it magically transforms into "100% real".Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

Well, now its being implied that Kammo Man trashed the cap....devalued it...to pick it up cheap. Actually that's not the case. Judging by WAF thread "SS Plane Tree #4 Cap" started bY "Segeltuchtasche" post #120 dated 12/26/2014 (almost 2yrs prior to the whole Lorenzo thread) the cap was already in KammoMans collection. So he owned the cap....he was trashing.....in order to trash another collector! Hard to follow...starts to get confusing in depths of this rabbit hole.
It really begs the question....If you can't recognize your own cap from those "gigantic" pics....how can one judge so many caps and helmet covers as good and bad from a few WAF pics? Tell-Tale signs and all? WTF?

In hand inspection changes everything.
This is one of those very cases.
The hobby is driven by shows and in hand inspection.
Its common sense to do this.
Following what you say about the Lorenzo helmet covers has no bearing here.

Since I don't see anyone stepping forward to support the originality of this cap the simple and easy solution is to accept the return of the cap and refund the money if that is what the original poster wishes.Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.
