    Ok guys- I respect your opinions. Help me out here- which insignia are you referring to- the skull or eagle? I am hoping BOB HRITZ will chime in here. What aspects about the insignia bother you? Thanks guys.

              Hello,

              I believe there is an issue with the left eye of this skull (on cap), which calls it into question. It looks close to the original below, but isn't quite correct, IMO. Others thoughts?

                The eagle, on the overseas cap, is ohe that has always been debated.

                The skull is a modern copy.

                            Overseas caps

                            Wow Owen,

                            That is some collection of overseas caps: panzers, officers, EMs. Several with great flat wire insignia.
                            I've never seen so many in one place. Amazing...................
