My Latest SS Pickups....Couple of RARE pieces..

Just picked this up late last week. There are a couple of HARD to find sleeve Diamonds in this bunch. The 2 with an eagle are for Members of Himmler's Personal Staff. The one with an Eagle and Plow represent Office of Consolidation of German Nationhood , which I believe was to watch over Volksdeutsche and expatriates. Sorry guys, nothing for sale right now. Many of these are keepers, others long spoken for. But please enjoy and comment! Overseas cap is staying in my collection too. I will open a thread for reviewing in a day or two.
    Regards-- Frank

Very nice, Frank, and congratulations. Sleeve diamonds are great to collection but don't seem to generate the collector interest they deserve - and you have a mess of them. These type groupings are always nice to observe, and thanks for posting.

That cap skull is probably just distorted from being folded over, but doesn't look right. Hope it's just the angle and picture - did it come with the rest of the insignia?

Thanks for your comments Robert. Yes, the cap came with the insignia. I have zero doubts about the insignia, especially having shown it to several reliable dealers this past weekend at the OVMS show in Wilmington. I will be posting the cap in a separate thread, but here are some better pics of skull. Lmk your thoughts.
                Regards- Frank

                  Hi,

ahah, i love the two furry hands that are helping you for the display !

Typical Dachau find, you should repost your pictures in the Dachau insignia topic too.

                  See You
