"the butchers ring"
He was not a "butcher", he managed against Himmlers order to treat the AK fighters as POW´s and not as partisans and so they were not killed after surrendering. He also brought a lot of Kaminskisoliers and Kaminski himself to court because of theire sadistic approach against the civilians. He saved thousends of civilians in the uprising. At nuremberg trails Tadeusz Komorowski exclaimed for him. I also have letters from jews after the war in wich they thank him for saving theire lives. Before the war he also helped Jews to get out of germany into Argentina. Himmler hates him, two times he write in his dairy that Himmler wants him dead.

Ring
1. The Himmler signature appears to cut across the joiner line. Can you post a pic of this area?
2. I'm hesitant to say this, because magnified photos of TK ring engraving are often deceptive, but the replaced area looks like it may have been cast, instead of engraved. Like I said....could be the photos, but other hand-engraving looks rough as well. Not the smooth lines I'd expect....
3. If your health was poor, and you lost weight.......why would you have such extensive modification made to your precious TK-Ring? Why not just wait until your health improved, and then it would fit again? If your health didn't improve, then it probably wouldn't matter unless you wanted to make sure it fit when you were buried with it. Gottlieb was advertising a TK-Ring with the same excuse for the modification, but that particular ring had the skull re-soldered upside-down.
NOTE: The ring may be perfectly fine, but this is just what I see.......
