                              Interesting to see on palm smocks that the pattern lays in the same spot on the garment more often than not. Here you can see that the 2 pullovers are almost identical where the leaves and spots are in the pattern. Within a few Centimeters of each other.

                                It's how all palm should be. Look at the pattern and repeat, as well as the width of the fabric; the clump will always be in roughly the same horizontal position, only it's vertical position will change (and even then, it will always be there somewhere on the arm because of the repeat).

                                if palm does NOT have the clump on the arm, thats something to be concerned with.
