It is of course noting that all patterns were worn simultaneously and it was not matchie match up.

Over the years I am amazed that anything survived.
The early patterns mostly went into the ground in Russia.
Though the 12th seemed supplied with early palms.
I thought for years the NCO in the ally with the Italian cameos was wearing an early type 1 like above but he's wearing a type 2.


But I digress.

I will start a pullover thread and show next.

The cottage industry level of SS clothing manufacture is a snapshot in time.
From the printing of the cloth to the assembly.

Each unique.

My report on helmet covers is finished.
Anyone who wants to add please feel free but I stress only original covers and in the educational sprit of this thread.

12 th was equipped basically with early tarn or early cammo scheme (plane tree ). I also noted there was an organization for example I noted kradschutzen/recoon received m42 tarn with plane tree early 1/2 but also late 5. Palm gone moreover to panzergrenadiere and so on.
