Fake bevo skull

    Unusual in that the said skull has a vertical weave where most (if not all)
    original bevo skulls have a horizontal weave?

      the design and the material looks so crude I can hardly believe it is a contemporary piece. Even in the last months of war this would be a total bottom line of German design and manufacturing

        I don't know about German Militaria, but I have a cap with same skull and eagle.

        Sorry, I don't know how to insert photos on this forum.

        It was owned by someone in my family.
        Last time I have seen it in at his home, was about late 70's.

            Don't let the bad print fool you. The bleeding edges and general poor appearance of the dye was common on many printed items in the latter part of the war.

              Mbn, this is replica insignia on a replica cap, in a bevo style. The insignia under discussion is printed.
