Period flemish picture question about a visor eagle

Hey Dale,

I was the guy who bought it and I love it. There is a cardboard template behind the bullion and it feels a lot like another I have held with that thicker black wool. I just think it was never applied to a cap and cut to shape. Bob looked at it for a little bit after I bought it from you at the show and liked it. Maybe he might comment again? Thanks for a great addition to my collection!
