In 1986 Micheal Horetsky found a photo album of an SS officer who was in Alpanland.

Several officers wore an Alpanland CT as well as Anti Partisan badges.

If I remember correctly the commanding officer was a general and there were pictures of policemen in Panzer wraps who were crew for a small armored train car with a small turret.

In many of the pictures the entourage is checking train track so the CTs are easy to see and the photography is first class.

That album was sold soon afterwards.

The only obvious crap here are Werewolf and Warsaw , on material / construction alone .
" Rhein " I would not dismiss that easily , the band material looks good , and the embroidery is consistent with other early Oberabschnitte .
The GDC reference ( the middle 3 ) shows a lot of good CT's - e.g. the Ärztliche Akademie flatwire for sure , but they also photoshopped the ones that they could not find .
Still - as far as I can remember , they did this only for XXXXrare CT's , I do not think they included made up things ( like Warsaw and Werewolf ) .

An original " Röntgensturmbann " , as sold by Peter Jenkins of SSBW ;

is the GDC picture ( without tags ) a fake ? Who knows - but the CT certainly existed .. !
