Collar tabs - need opinion

Larry, 500 is top "old price" from before the market started stumbling. With today's prices, you'd have to get him to about 400.00 to consider it a good price.. Good original tabs though.

The tabs that started the discussion are original. The rank tab obviously had three pips at one time, which is an officers rank and would not be appropriate for the enlisted tab. I agree the pips were added later anyway; when the backing holes have cracking like around enlarged holes than they were added after the backing was aged-hardened. I don't consider it to hurt the value much, but it is a factor.

It you can get them for US $400 to US $500 you are getting them at a very good price these days. SS runes and certain other items SS such as the tabs (such as the tabs Bob Hritz sold on the estand) are selling a lot faster.

Carsten Baldes had a nice pair (SS rune & blank rank tab) in his up-date on Friday. They flew off the site and were sold withing two minutes of the up-date going live for Euro 750.

SS runes are in demand at the moment and SS in general is picking up speed again post 2008,

Sounds good. I'd consider 750 Euro for a common set of RZM tabs high, but no problem if they are selling for that.
