If you have also bought the splinter one for little money then this was a really good deal!

      Very Nice

A nice example of a good zeltbahn in italian cloth.
Used by all German army units from LW, SS WH to even KM !! The bakelit buttons on this one are original to it, WH splinter zelts with bakelit buttons have exactly the same buttons from captured italian stocks.

Like I said in the other thread, it is rare but not ultra rare.
Unfortunately I didn't have good pictures of it for my book
But I am working on an updated version with many more unseen goodies

        Hey Werner,
I wanted to ask you something about the printing of the Splinter Pattern on one side and on the other side the reversed splinter pattern. Have you seen anything else aside from zeltbahns that have this?

        Thanks Michael

I have seen backpacks and the smock pictured in my book. But it turned out they were all made from cut up zeltbahns... so only one garment has been made in this camo : the zeltbahn.
I have several of them all different color tones from pinkish to brownish. I like them, but they are hard to get by !

Is there a maker mark on your italian zelt ? Look close at the central seam, often the name is printed in the cloth.
