Hi.
This topic is SS-related because there is at least one SS-Obersturmbannführer (Lucien Lippert) buried at the current graveyard. Thats the reason why I start this thread in this forum and I think that I will get help faster here then in other forums on WAF.
Today I went to the German cemetery at Syrets in Kyiv. Its at graveyard for about 300 German prisoners of war. When I came to the place it was something that felt a bit odd. First when I walked into the graveyard itself I saw that the big wodden cross was broken. It can of course been the wind that did this, but I have my doubts about that, and from its position it looks more like someone have broken it by force.
I have tried to find information about who to contact to get this fixed. Im not so good at finding it, perhaps someone here can help me?
Regards
