I did pick it up for a little more then $20 because in person it looked so nice being solid silver [marked on lower jaw]. I think the eyes are big because they were filed out by whoever made it. Lots of very fine file marks throughout. Somebody did go through a lot more then $20 worth of work to make it. Will look cool on my jacket and it was cheap....

Like I said if you read the post, I already bought it. 40 bucks. I paid a lot more for worse. At least its solid silver [marked 900 and I tested it] and clearly an older one. People comment on the eyes and nose size. They are just filed out large because it is a hand tooled piece. You can see the file marks in person. I wouldn't want to go through the work of making it, filing and polishing it for $40....I bet there are guys out there that would buy it for $100 or more. I've had real zinc and plated ones, and this isn't too far off the design. In my opinion, this one looks better. I'm happy with it. Anyway, whose to say for sure its not a jewler made period piece. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
