SS started producing their wraps in late 1937 - early 1938
So theoretically it would be possible but i have never seen an ss wrap with factory-applied piping either

And the Pictures of the early part of the war (Poland and France) are showing SS Members wearing their early wraps only without collar piping.

Is the lining cotton or rayon? Does it have any other stamps like a depot stamp?

I asked the seller. The lining is cotton. There are some faint markings that remain, but these are the only additional pics. Looks like "HOH and 507" something like that on the lower right hand inside panel.
