The eagle's fine.On the tabs the quality/construction looks right to me.They're probably a specialist NSB thing for your neighbouring colleagues,no doubt they'll be along shortly.

          Good luck,cheers,Ian.

About the Tabs, when I take the Book the Foreign Legion part 2 there you can see Tabs just like this ones.

As mentioned before I like the back of these tabs.

                Regards,

                Rene

                      Dear John,

The tab you are referring to is a complete differnt Tab (horizontal)
The vertical can be Dutch made.

                      Best regards,

                      Rene

                        Tabs & eagle...

                        Hi Gerd,

I think you made a wise move...the tabs look and the eagle so I think you were lucky that they were already on hold..... a pity for the buyer...

                        Best regards,

                        Coco

                            Dear All,

While I am not the buyer, I like these tabs.

Construction, age etc looks good to me. I know from Bob Hritz that the Dutch were "masters" in locally made items.

What is exactly wrong with these tabs?

I am not an expert but I willing to learn.

                            Thanks and best regards,

                            Rene

                              Hi Rene,

Although the fact that the shown pictures are a bit vague, I personally do not like the backing, the glue traces, the large size pips and the loose embroidery on the Wolfshook and would therefore NEVER have them in my collection.

Of course, did the Dutch fabricate lots of items themselves (often very roughly done) however, this fact should IMO not be used as an excuse to authenticate everything that looks like 'the real stuff'.

This is just my opinion....I might be wrong of course.

                              Best regards,

                              Coco
