The diffrence is in number ; there was only a bit over 100 pieces of those covers ( most unfinished ) while G43 ammo pouches were in thousands ( I wouldn't be suprised if number was with 2 digits at the begining of the number ).

Read the thread precisely: 112 finished covers and 30 unfinished ones were found. Not most of them were unfinished.

Well I am sure they would but he was asking 6500-7500 a cover. Super full retail. Dealers can't make any money on them. And they will be hard to move at that price or more. So why bother.
Prices on camo and smocks has been coming down. I would maybe buy one at 2500, but would rather get a smock for a bit more.

I bought two of them and am thrilled. Yes, I wish they were $2500.00 so I could buy 10 more. I do not see that day coming, but add me to the list if they ever crash to that price.

Based on that asking price, doing the math that's like a million bucks worth of covers...(142 covers ttl with full asking price).

Just wanted to share with you the latest and hopefully the last batch of Original Unissued Waffen SS Helmet Covers. I was contacted again that they found more in Germany. At first, they said they found 30, but in reality, they only found 12 more and Thank God! They said they finally gone through everything and this is the last! Wife was not happy! She was not happy the other times also. I had to "tap" to borrow from my business loan and my 401k the last times. Oh well I still purchased the last of them I hope?!
