          Nowhere near to the press tool that would be needed to make the working dies. Obviously just as fake as the skulls they pretend to make.

                          Unfinished skull (real or not)...I am not a casting expert but if it was a mold (a tool) the letters/markings would have to be in mirror image, right?
                          (just like an ink stamp)

                            NickG is entirely correct - It's the skull itself - The square border hasn't been removed yet. If it were a mold, the RZM mark would end up on the skull's forehead - AND it would be backward!! Good call!!

                              This skull is an unfinished strike, from a die, that was made in the 1970s. It just has not been finished with the cutting die that would remove the excess material.
