Unfinished Strike

Bob is right. Here is an original unfinished strike of a M1/52 on a round CuPal planchet. I picked it up from John Peperra a few years back at the MAX. It has pebbling in the eyes and nose. Interesting detail that would eventually be removed.

That is an awesome piece of history.
Also, Bob is correct, as the fake skull in question is die struck like originals were.
