Well, it is just a single, not a pair, and good luck finding a match!

And there are enough of these floating around that it is not like Himmler personally owned it and blessed it by uttering secret SS sacraments over it or anything. So to those of us who passed it by, CHEERS!

                Jedem das Seine...

Nice tab but I don't see the appeal, Himmler was a coward bureaucrat
that couldn't even bear the sight of the horrors he ordered others to commit.I'd rather have Sepp Dietrich's ones and pay that price tag for something that belonget to a true warrior...
of course this is just my humble opinion...

                  Ditto.

For that kind of money there is a bucket load of nice choices. Still...each to his own

They come up fairly often at the "big" dealers. I've seen several at Wolfe's over the years and even the "pool boy" has had a set.

For educational purposes I will go ahead and say that I was told by the seller it sold for 12,000 USD.

It sold for a reasonable price. Congratulations to the new owner. The insignae of historical figures make a fascinating collection and Himmler is certainly a historically infamous persona.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

I also thought the price was very reasonable.

Thank you - some of the other comments sound like they are from "catty" little school girls - Remember there are others who believe that if you collect anything from the Third Reich Era it makes you a "Nazi" lover This should be a forum for discussion of historical pieces not one to criticize collection preferences
