    SS Paper Weights

    Yes, I do believe that SS marked items, in addition to Allach items, were sold at a retail level. Wall hangings, for one comes to mind.

      $ 1.125,- for an " LAH - Ehrengeschenk " -

      would this be a skilled piece of work from a period German silversmith .. ?

      A fine piece of porcelain perhaps .. ?

      No , the material is described as " Bakelit-masse " - so basically , someone happened to combine an officers buckle & TK-button into one solid cast plastic monstrosity . In white .

      More importantly : both designs were issue items protected by the RZM , and therefor not allowed for " patriotic " souvenir retail trinklets - in any material ..

          And there is a another model without the TK but showinf just the SS runes.

          That was the one offered to e - it was also painted.

          Good this is cleared up now then...

          I have to agree with the RZM arguement - I dont think anyone could copy the exact image and plant it on items for sale.

          Saved once again by WAF.

          Thanks guys
