      Damn it----the frick'in zippers are all there! After your posting, I stayed up all night counting them with an IR strobe light!

              I'm no expert on these but the colour and style of those markings look very different to the others posted and those i've seen myself. ?

              Here's my one bowl. Dug up in pieces a couple of years ago by myself here in North Norway. Interestingly, where this was dug up there were no SS units at the time it was disgarded, in fact i can say with great confidence that it came from an area used by GJR 141 of the 6 GD in 1945. I think it may originally have come from the 6 SS-GD 'Nord', left behind as they retreated through the area in late 1944. The units returning to the continent had to leave behind a large amount of equipment and it would make sense that the army's 6 GD would have made use of what was left behind as they themselves lost a lot of equipment on the Murmansk front.
              I also know of further SS-Reich porcelain being brought up by divers in the area. Not from a wreck but some of the large amounts of materiel dumped during the summer of '45.
