    Show me Your SS porcelain

    HI
I've been lucky to acquire this one SS Reich saucer. I would love to get a cup to go with it but it seems that none of the dealers have any SS porcelain for sale. Are these items very rare? I remember seeing that girl on the Serpents wall page dug some up. Do any other collecters here have any pieces of SS porcelain they would be willing to share? Heres my one piece
any input would be very much appreciated
    thanks

    Hello !

SS-Reich saucers are common - I often encounter such items over here. Saucers, forks, spoons etc. - collecting of these seem to be very popular

By the way - had this mark any connection with 2-nd SS division ? I am sure that had no, but hear this statement every time from some collectors.

    Cheers,
    Alex

Alex, I believe these items marked SS-Reich are indeed from the "Das Reich" or 2nd SS division.....Bodes

Well, but which way SS division was connected with saucers ?

I believe both of the trademarks shown are for the Bauscher Weiden company... you might be interested to know that the Bauscher firm is still a large porcelain manufacturer, with corporate offices in Weiden in the Oberpfalz area of Bavaria. I visited there in 1998 while I was stationed at Grafenwöhr, but could get no information about what they manufactured during the Third Reich!

              Regards,
              Greg

My only two pieces of Allach. The porcelain dog is #19 in the Allach catalog, "Standing Terrier." I believe the Julleuchter is good too, though they have been faked.

Thanks to Jacob and Greg for showing their pieces. I'd love to get more but it seems hard to find online sources for these. I've always liked the Allach porcelain pieces as well, but they sure don't come cheap. My saucer is a Bauscher Weiden and who would think that they are still around. Anyone else have any SS porcelain out there?
