Wow the responses to this thread have been great. Thats a very impressive collection of SS plates and the Allach pieces are extremely impressive as well. Its amazing that more than a handful of SS porcelain survives considering the bombing of Germany and that Porcelain can break so easy. Michael that Allach statue is very cool, who is it of ? I love your display case and thos Luft honour goblets as well. There has to more collectors out there with SS porcelain to show so lets see it. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.

Not an area I collect, but I can still appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship - thanks for sharing!
It was asked earlier in the thread did there SS Reich marked items have any relation to the 2.SS Div.'Das Reich' - the answer is 'no'...Further evidence of this can be found by looking at the dated items that Pimpf posted, there was no 'Reich' or 'Das Reich' division in 1937...Best, John

Hello Gents,
I have a little contribution to the strange "REICH" marking. In the Pic below you can see a original copper plate which was found by myself. The Plate was found together with destroyed "SS - Reich" Porcellan and many SS K98 Ammo with "SS DWM 1938" and "SS TV 1939" bottom stamps. ( There were some hundreds destroyed Porcellan pieces ).
The Plate is very intresting, I think it should read the following : " SS - TV Reich ".
Unfortunality i couldnĀ“t find the rest of the Plate.
The Ouestion is, is there a connection to the Porcellan ???
And for what was the Plate used ?? I think it was used to pencil the inscription to a wall or a door, but were ??
Location was a Concentration camp.
