I would suggest the Scapini or the Boyle book. I read the Gottlieb book and still couldn't tell a real ring from a fake.

Transitional rings are similar to later rings but with an earlier date. Not too many of this type ring exist.

Are transitional ring more desirable than others? Do they cost more?

Not sure it can be useful, but this year I published a book about the TK rings updating some infos and discoveries. Too bad it is only in italian.

I showed inside a lot of rings (and details), all them with the Don Boyle COA.
