One wrap is Heer the other one is SS but it shouldn't really matter as burlap is burlap and usually consistent from garment to garment. Below is one more example of burlap material from another SS wrap, as a matter of fact, two slightly different burlap materials sewed together and used in one wrap.

W.A.forum member, a very experienced collector and my friend just PMed me and pointed out that original German wraps always have waist-adjustment tresses made of only one and always the same type of material with the "/\" pattern (of course of differnet colors). Below is the tress of the wrap in question with two original examples (SS wraps).Attached Files

just to point: the wrap started the topic has 4 waist holes... quite all htb has 5 (7 has 4).
the waist loop usually isn't closed at bottom. here yes.
All htb late wraps has loops for shoulder boards, font of numbers are different from others... but i really see many fonts with different sizes.
I see also betr.ra. fonts without any other stamps (depot or names) but also mixed stamps.
the pic. n1 doesn't show on the right the typicall sewing (at the border of pocket lining) as "<"Last edited by viva_giulio; 12-19-2013, 03:36 PM.

I am not sure if I understand correctly everything that you are saying. Is the betr.ra. wrap that started this thread identical to the "7"-marked wrap that you posted? did i understand it correctly that tresses and burlap in them are the same? Is the "7" marked wrap in your possession? If so can you post pictures of button holes(in front lapels)?
