    3 different SS collar tabs for review

    Hey guys I was wondering if these tabs look authentic? If they are could you tell me more about them? Thanks!

    Tabs

    I'm more of an SA guy, but I don't like what I see. I sdon't think a "C" RZM code is correct for the complexity of the tab. The SS runes on the top tab look malformed, and the same for the oak leaves. IMO, all fake, but let's see what the experts say. More closeup photos would be helpful to see the reverse of the tabs, but are probably not necessary in this case.

        Tabs

        The Oberstgruppenfuhrer set is an old fake. Construction and RZM tab are immediate heads up. You can find it listed and displayed in: fake uniform insignia thread;
        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=83489 .

        The standartenfuhrer tabs have very poor construction. Buckram is another indicator.

        The SS1 has the same buckram as the other two, though it is a better quality reproduction.

            I like the nice crisp rzm tag thrown on there.

                        When I look at SS cloth, I follow an early piece of advice I received from a very advanced collector:

                        "If you were an SS Officer, and you went into a tailor shop to spend your money, are these tabs of a level of quality that you would feel proud to display on your uniform?"

                        The short answer when looking at these tabs is: "Hell no!"
                        "Activity! Activity! Speed! I greet you."
