        Oh, but they were Nazi too, employing forced labour, at least according to the wiki article. Still, an ordinary bureau or banker type lamp, nazi or not.

        It's German, but I see what you mean, nothing particularly German or Nazi..just 20's to 50's style lamp

          I've owned this type lamp before. I think the shade is glass. The shade is made in 2 layers, green over white. Very typical of these desk lamps. Do you have it in hand? If this is true, the eagle will come off with paint remover.

            No Peter, the shade is absolutely enameled metal but I know the type you are referring.
