    My first SS tunic...!

    Hello everyone,

Although I mainly focus on collecting WW2 British Airborne militaria I decided to branch out a little. I have always fancied an original SS tunic because of their involvement in the Battle of Arnhem, so when fellow forum member "phoef" offered me one, I just couldn't resist! I had to have one and I thought this must be the one! Has anyone else had any dealings with this guy - he seems pretty honest to me?

He told me he found it in his home country, The Netherlands, in a barn close to Oosterbeek. So when I heard this I couldn't believe it. Anyway, I looked into and all it checks out and I can't see any "red flags". The condition is a little tatty but good for a tunic that has been around for so many years.

Pictures follow and you'll see what I mean - this is a really nice original wartime tunic to a highly decorated SS man.

Opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance!
