in 1939 he joined the NSDAP. That was not uncommon but not absolutely neccessary.

He was awarded EKII, EK1, IAB, woundbadge in black (10.07.41). He is not married yet - so it must be before 12/42.Comment

the last copy at the moment - his application to marry his fiancee and later wife (seen in some of the pics).
Therefore he needed the agreement of the Reichführer SS. This application included a lot of documents and was thoroughly proved.
The other parts of the RuSHA file are very private and have nothing to do with his miltary career.

incredible group... outstanding. i don't know really what suggest... restore or not... you will do however the better choise. A part of me say... restore immediatly you have pics of this tunic... the other says... leave it as you found.

concerning the tunic - at the moment its still at the same conditon like shown. I have found a nice HStF collar tab but no matching runic tab yet. The eagle is tricky as well. I havent seen a matching eagle yet.
At the moment I am thinking the best is to follow Rich Morgans advice. I will ad the insignia for display with a few stitches per hand. But that isnt urgent.Last edited by LuckyStrike23; 08-07-2013, 12:10 PM.Comment
