A large pic with a RAD company. He is most likely one of these men:

              at least 2 questions remain:

Why didint he wear cufftitles? Were there any regulations?
What does a tunic with 2 skull tabs mean?

                  No.
I am very sure he had no chance of access even if he wanted. The Bundeswehr was one of the institutions that investigates very detailed every candidat. With these biographie one had for sure no chance.

I dont really know. But I think the process and the years in prison compromised his later life and caused his early death (1973).

You were absolutely right. I didnt notice that this ribbon was even part of the lot - I was confused because of the colour. It suffered a lot during the last decades. You can still see the impress on the tunic - although it seems that the loops were relocated - most likely because he added his Nahkampfspange later.

From a previous thread in 2006 regarding mirrored totenkopf tabs.

Thanks. Was the owner of that Soldbuch also among the accused in Dachau?

For sure he saw more and was in more places than he expected in early life before war.

I wonder how strong were proof against him in Malmedy case - really gave orders/took part in kilings prisoners ?

Anyway, great restoration project, well documented so it shouldn't be hard to find lacking insignias.
