You know, a shriner's fez, some knock off insignia, and a little fabri-tac can go a long way!

Thank you for the second opinion. Not to familiar with the fez but if memory serves me correctly their should not be a rzm tag in there and the hieght and shape look to weird for me. Not to mention the skull

              Peter,

Are you the proud mother of that sizeable length of cable? If so, what in the hell did you eat?

Wasn't that Hitlers personal toilet, just by chance found in a barn, which sold on ebay? I believe that inside the toilet was the relic of AH himself!

I'm amazed every day what I see on ebay, these con-artists get away with this stuff.

Oh, I'm sorry, Manny. Was I to take this as a tongue-in-cheek comparison of my militaria "collection" to the allegedly fraudulent Shroud of Turin? That's very funny, and clever, too! My LW HG Panzer officer's M-43 is off to you.

Or was it an opaque reference to Nativity scenes, complete with livestock and hay? Either way, I hope, for your sake, that the Moderators don't have too big of a problem with borderline sacrilege. In my conversations with most military folk, I have found that a wry sense of humor is often somewhat underappreciated, if not completely misunderstood.

I don't know why. Perhaps it is due to the seriousness of their occupation. No, this not to say that they are all dense, or comically challenged. It's just that while they may be quick on the trigger, they are often slow with the laughtrack. Still, it's true, what they say: If you can't laugh at yourself, you're just stupid.

Perhaps I am just a bit too intellectual for my own good. Oh, well. I can only tell you to hold onto your "fakes" - er, I mean, your fezzes. For, as the consensus here has intoned, "We ain't seen nothin' yet." In a manner that I am sure was not intended, the consensus is absolutely right!
