Firstly there is nothing wrong with a hand embroidered tab for enlisted use having a "B" label, this is regardless off, if it is a runic or tk or one of the above with numbers or letters, hand embroidered or machine embroidered

That has no meaning with regard to a tab...many times real tags are added to a fake piece to increase value, or fake tags added to a real piece to increase value, or fake tags added to fake pieces or even real tags added to real tabs...you can not go by the tag alone, but it is a clue as to whether a piece has been "played with"...and of course a piece being "played with" with regard to the tag being added/switched does not make it fake per se or any less real.

Ditto that,

you also have to take into account time period as well pre war aluminium H/E tabs were the norm for enlisted ranks.

I think my favorite tab in the group is the horizontal offiecers Totenkopf tab. That is one that has eluded me, but patience pays off. I will find one, I will find one, I will find one, for those of you who can't see me I'm rubbing my ruby red slippers together.
