To me the re-productions and the real ones look identical besides the needles/pins and lack of makers mark. Does anyone have both an re-production and a real one of the same badge that they could show side by side on a photo so that we could see the difference, eventually also measure hight/length and also difference in weight? It would have been nice to once and for all be able of making a conclusion concerning these badges. I have heard some rumors that the re-productions were made by an employee at Sporrong on the original tools, is this a fact?

I definitely remember seeing these sets in the early 80s.

Some dealers had them and either sold as a set or aged them and sold separately. I even remember a dealer was selling his set as 'reproductions made from original tooling'.

I heard later not from original tooling,,but the new tooling was made with the help of some of the old tooling...

Would be extremely interesting to see real/fake side by side in the same photo.
