      Hi Marc.

I'm sorry about the day-badges, these are the fakes I mentioned. The brown enameled looks fine to me. As of now I haven't encountered any Sporrong-marked items that I considered as fakes. If the blue one is marked in the same way, I'd say it's good too, although the blue nuance is a bit odd. I can't specify their status, but they are related to one of the swedish NS-organisations, most probably NSAP. That's all I have for now

            Hello
I am a collector of swedish nazi badges..
The blue badge is NSAP Leadership badge for province leaders
and the brown is NSAP Leadership badge for local leaders.

            Did you purchased the badges??
I think both the blue and the brown is real if it also are marked with sporrong.

The NSAP leaders' shields both look like originals, and are as before mentioned brown for local leader and blue for province

                    regards

                    Alex

Here is an example of a Swedish NAZI Party pin. Notice the reverse shows the manufacturer's marking. These pins have been highly fake.

The Öresundstinget pin and the two enamelled shields are original, but all other pins are fakes.

Do anyone know who made these re-productions, and when? They are extremely well made and it looks like they were produces on the original tools, seems like the only difference are the needles/pins and the lack of Sporrong makers mark ? It seems like a large numbers of these hit the US market in the early 90´s, and many dealers had these for sale (as originals). I myself bought 10-15 from a dealer in 1994.

There was a dealer in the midwest who sold groupings of these (maybe 20 per lot) as original in the 1990's or it may have been the 1980's. He claimed they were original but he was known to sell many copy items through a catalog that he put out once or twice a year. I believe he has since passed away.

The fakes are quite well made, but compared to the original Sporrong produced, they are poor.
