AMAZING find, just shows us all what is still out there.
It looks in great condition with nap on the wool still present. WOW.
Any chance of seeing it on a mannequin for the visual effect of all three pieces together?
All you need is a belt & buckle,,,please.
          cheers

As so many have said - it is a truly wonderful find! It's rarity lies in multiple dimensions. There are people who would "think" of killing for a cache like this one.

Carefully listen to those who will guide you in its proper handling and care. This is a once in a life-time find - by today's standards. Well Done!!!

I've expressed my feeling in the other thread and I confirm here.
You, Devin, must be confortable with the idea that you made probably one of the greatest find in the last years.
Agree with the others: keep all the items together, store them and take care of them with attention and properly, keep the box also, try to find as much info as possible from the previous owner, don't let you drive crazy by the offers...you're a keeper of a part of WWII, a custodian blessed by Lucky Goddes.
Congratulations and respect for such finding.
Thrilling pics, we see original stitching here, nothing resewn (as most SS items...no one wanted to be related to SS in Europe, US keeps treasures and time capsules).
Novice? Maybe, and maybe everyone of us must keep some novice humbleness.
But, my friend, now you are rocketed into the Veteran Collectors World!

                Regards
                G.

Several people have asked to see a close up of the vent hole and makers marks so here you go...I wish I could read the maker but it is too blurry.

Just to point out that this humble Rottenführer was obviously not a combattant, but a 'desk jockey', working for one of the many Hauptämter of the SS-administration.

It does read 'ReichsfühRUNG-SS', not 'ReichfühRER-SS'...

Sorry, I didn't participate in the thread about this tunic, perhaps somebody else made the same observation.
