    Wewelsburg Dinnerware

    Hi Guys
I wanted to show a small overview of this nice SS Cutlery. This set is not Wewelsburg marked. Two other spoon are marked " SS Führerschule Burg Wewelsburg " At moment I can't make a good image of the marking.
I have made the images with my Iphone because my digi cam aku is empty.
Will show you some better images with close up tomorrow.

    Your opinions welcome

    Cheers Andi

Your statement is not correct all the parts are original.

Apparently opinions are welcome...only as long as those opinions agree with his own predisposition.

I don't know about the first SS pattern, but I don't like the Wewlsburg pieces.
I have some in my collection from long time, bought from Mark and 100% originals. I'm confortable with only these pattern from Wewelsburg. I post some pictures of them, that maybe of help.

I agree with Antonio. I have 2 pieces from Wewelsburg, exactly the same pattern. Good provenance, and from the same seller. I am very comfortable with them. Some of them were denazified, but original pieces without any doubt.

Just come back from a meeting in the wewelsburg.
The employee said it is possible that such cutlery were used before 1935. It would not look like a typical fake. At the time and even later was the official name "SS Reichsführerschulel - Burg Wewelsburg" Much later, the castle was renamed "SS Wewelsburg" Haus Wewelsburg ". From this later period are your cutlery.

                              Cheers Andi

By the way. The marker of the first posted cutlery set is H.A. Erbe A.G. Metallwaren u. Besteckfabrik.
All Items i have posted here came directly from the family and was never before in a collection.
