Michel, I was not addressing you as your first post led me to believe you were not the "buyer/bidder" . I was only wondering if those "buying" had any real objective understanding of what facts we know of at this time.

The quote I took from you is all we can claim at this time.

No one can claim these tree decorations are SS, except any with SS symbols on them.

I suspect the sum of the buyer/bidder had been effected by a ill conceived idea there was more of a SS connection than can be believed at this time. Especially, as you aptly stated , the two main documents for SS use of such things we have does not confirm them.

A interesting side note to those who may not know: this type of item has a collector base beyond us simple militaria related collectors. This type of item might be wanted by collectors of old Holiday Ornament/Christmas tree ornament collectors who want it DESPITE its possible NS and or NS /Christian and NS/pagan inferences.
