Perhaps they added one too many zeroes?

I'm really not at all surprised by the price.

Its a M36. NCO. Excellent condition. Absolutely stunning. And probably a commission piece to boot.

Its a high price, one I could never justify. But it doesn't really surprise me.

        That tells me two things:

        1. Milk will be $25.00 per Gallon in the US soon . . .

        2. An SS Officer tunic will be $90,000.00 US just about the same time . . .

Now who was it that said "making an investment" in TR relics was such a boondoggle ???

Of course, Bill would have to supply a few more pictures for me, on this one.

This incredible find could certainly be the gem of anyone’s collection!

How does the song go?.....money, money, money. Bill must need to pay for the car.

I agree. I thought he added one too many zeros as well when I first saw it.....

That tunic is a equal to a nice car!

Anyway, I have never seen an NCO with an "Old Fighters" chevron. Have you?

I THINK this tunic belonged to Mike Davis at some point.. The interior matches one he posted sometime ago spot on (which i know doesn't necessarily mean anything). Check it out below, its the second tunic he posts.

I'm trying to see if maybe he posted a frontal view but it would be nice when Mike sees this thread - I think he'll be able to tell us (if it was indeed his at some point) how much mark up this baby is getting.

Tunic in a perfect shape. Does anybody know if insignia is wartime applied or restored?

I assume then that you are a regular user of the acronym, 'FIGJAM'....

For that price, I would sincerely hope so... Even if it is originally applied insignia it is too high, maybe if it had provenance to a specific soldier, only then
I could see a price like that justified.
