    "...the standards are high..."

I second that - especially in regards to Allach porcelain.

    Happy collecting!

Personally, I think that "agreeing to disagree" was a good idea.

I do hope that Dennis chimes in to put this subject to rest.

Hi there will be no warnings. Keep it civil or it will be closed. No insults. Best regards.

For the record, in all email exchanges with me Dennis Porrell has conducted himself as a gentleman and has been more than generous in sharing his knowledge with me. I've never had any problems with Dennis Porrell. He's a good man in my book.

I think it raises a red flag that the accuser here did not privately email Mr. Porrell to discuss this first before going on a public forum in this manner.

Unlike others I know, Dennis never got caught red handed selling fake lab coats or modern "ss tapestries!" Just sayin'

I believe he will as and when he thinks the time is right.

                    Gentlemen,

Here is more food and details to be taken into account:

All of a sudden all the pics within the auction archive online have been removed by the auction house - and the PDF-files of the 104th and 105th auction have been deleted as well.

                    That should tell you something.

But here you can still see the "Rotkehlchen" in it´s full glory:

                    http://auktionen.historia.de/ufItemI...d=51737&s_id=0

Among the "Rotkehlchen" is a text "Im Vollbild anzeigen" - click it and then you can see the following pic of the piece:

                    Copyright: Historia Auktionshaus Berlin

Compare it with the offered piece on Dennis Porell´s website and you will see that it is the identical piece.

And the piece has also been discussed on a collector forum of our russian collector friends:

It would be nice if someone being able to speak russian language could step in and translate what they say and think about this piece.

I have ill for a few days so fell behind on this discussion, which seems to have simply gone in circles.

One is now clear to me, after checking out your link.

In my opinion, you are on nothing more than witch hunt. I have asked questions and made suggestions that have fallen on deaf ears. That coupled with the link you provided, show me what you truly are. I am done with you and your opinions. To me neither are worth a pinch of salt. One only has to use a translation program to understand what was being discussed in that topic. You seem to have hunted for a photo of this bird and then jumped all over it.

Good day to you mr muckraker

Hmmm..quite strange why no one really has to say someting..all keep stumm..except Thorsten

IMO..again, the painting on the bird for a Robin really is not what you would expect on such a fine piece of porcelain.

Even if i just would collect porcelain birds and wouldnt care about the maker, like in this case Allach, i wouldnt want to have it because some is wrong in the colour sheme to be a proper Robin.

Here is another Robin of a Quality german Porcelain Manufacture
                            http://www.kneenandco.com/nymphenbur...4-210-213.html

I would expect at least the same quality painting on the Allach Bird.

Im not into Allach but if this Robin painting was never recorded on allach sales catalouges etc...what would it be then??? A prototype or a private or better custom made painted 111?
                            One of each??!!!

Secondly i cannot understand why Mr. Porell is still so busy to not say a word here yet, if he is aware of this thread and a member here...it only takes 5-10min to log on and defeat the product he is offering.

I see if Herr Weitze or someone else has something wrong on their website..they get ripped apart in the air here on the forum...without getting in contact with that individual before starting a thread!!! Now here it seems ...no one relly cares..

Just my opinion....from a non Allach collector...

                              READY FOR A LAUGH?????

before you start feeling sorry for Thorsten, it would be wise for him to now TAKE HIS OWN ADVICE AND STOP HIS ATTACK ON MR PORRELL. Let me re-post his advice to ME when I was asking for more proof of the originality of a piece - a sippenbuch to be exact. It became an all-out attack on me as often is the case with this guy. This was copied from post # 72 about the sippenbuch. Apparently he is the only one allowed to be negative about an item. In retrospect my comments were not very tactful but I risk embarrasment now to make an important point!

                              Don,

The content of your comment is what really starts bothering me and if you continue in this way the real informative input in this forum will come pretty soon to a dead end:

First you and others who are interested in these cultural items should FIRST be happy and be honest and behave well educated and just say THANK YOU.

To the ones who share their long sought-after pieces, which are often enough unique, one-of-a-kind and bear a great possibility to step forwards, to develope.

Now you are keen on watching the content of Jim´s posted example, right?

                              Right!

So damned, use your brain and be honest and just say honestly: Jim, is it possible to see more of your very good looking book you were kind enough to share here with us.

Instead of that you are just brash and begrudging and come around with the attempt to imply that this example of the Sippenbuch might be just - a fake.

Because it "...looks like a modern addition to me..." and "It reminds me of an American metal band album cover not a serious depiction of heritage, lineage, and ancestry, does it??"

And then the cream of negative energy outspreaded by you:"I have seen Familie Chroniks which originally devoid of runes, had them post-period added by forgers to increase value. My hunch is this "sippenbuch" befell a similar plight .....am I way off base here???"

What you really want is "....can you clarify or provide more info?" - so say directly so and stop this ridiculous and insulting behaviour!

So you - while sitting as an SS internet priest resting on your phantasy horse - finally accord the grace to Jim to stop implying and spreading that this Sippenbuch might be a fake if only he follows your "rule" to show more of his fine Sippenbuch.

                              You know what?

If I would be Jim I would show no more any unique items from my own collection and say: Go home and put this contained negative shady energy you spread out in your comment on your own head and deal with that.

Your behaviour is not ridiculous or funny anymore - it just makes me angry and upset and if everybody would behave like you this forum would be dead and senseless!

Puuh - now I feel better.

                                Nobody is attacking Mr. Porell.

I am sharing my knowledge in regards to an "extraordinarily rare painted Kohlmeise" which is a humped up piece.

Just concentrate on that piece in question, it´s well worth it.
